Lunaire?!
Yep! It's my submission for Game-Art-HQ's "Turn Good 2 Evil - Evil 2 Good Contest" contest!
Some info on the character of Solaire, whom Lunaire is based off of:
He is one of the first 'undead' that you meet in the game. He also gives you the abilitiy to, and assists you with defeating the major bosses throughout the game by being summoned to help you.
Dialogue in-game , along with a funny tidbit at the end.

I wanted to do something that was not only fun for me to do, but be a fairly new title done for this contest!
So thinking of all the characters I could do...
Hmm... Praise the - moon?
I turned the jolly ol' Solaire, to his evil counterpart... Lunaire.
He wears a moon tabard, uses the Moonlight Straight Sword, Darkness-bolts, and wears spikes. Cuz' spikes are evil. Heh.

Wait, If Solaire is, as many people think, the god of war, does that make Lunaire the god of peace?

But being a "god of war" doesn't necessarily mean you are inherently evil.

I know, but many say Solaire is the Firstborn of Gwyn. The Firstborn of Gwyn is the god of war. That means, that if Solaire is Lunaire opposite, than it is logical that Lunaire is the god of peace.

If Solaire is the friendliest knight you'll ever know in Dark Souls, then Lunaire must be the biggest asshole to players.

I love the perspective you've given. It adds to the imposing figure of Anti-Solaire. The red eyes, the green glow, and the torn, purple tabard give the our jolly cooperator the sinister villain aspect that no one could expect. Dark Souls shoulda used this as the "Dark" Solaire's armour.

Well, Gwyndolin WAS pretty much a jerk ass if there ever was one. Of course the guy devoted to him is an ass aswell.

If you follow the lore of the game, the moon is associated with femininity. Not to spoil too much for people, there already is a character in the game that can be considered the anti-thesis of Solaire, though he/she/it is not called Lunaire.

I'm happy for your insight, but this was just done for a contest and to be silly - I am not insinuating anything nor trying to make anything cannon from this illustration. ^w^;;
I also thank you SO MUCH for actually watching your spoilers, sadly other's haven't done that and I've been spoilt for most of the game, but as of right now I have beat it, so I already know most of the game... ^^

Nice, though what covenant would he be apart of? Just curious, though judging my looks and symbol I'd say Darkmoon since it would make the most sense. Again though awesome work and good luck.

True. But just going by all ready made covenants that would be the best fit. Again awesome work and Dark Souls definitely has to be one of my favorite games ever made. Hpe they make more for the series.

What I think is really cool about the whole style is how complete and well-rendered some surfaces look with just minimal folds or creases or any such finishing touches - like the gloves and greaves, with just a few quick well-placed strokes.
And also, the red light edges partly outlining the character (even though the fabric and all is not actually red) create a really nice effect. I wanna try doing more of this myself. I kinda do it, but with either just colors that match the lit surfaces or then white or very pale yellow light.

OH DEAR... YUS! YUSSS! I must say... among all characters I could think of in this "Turn Good 2 Evil or Vice-Versa", Solaire didnt even appear in my mind! D8> I must get back to the Dark Souls life ASAP!
This is so... incredible! You really drew his counterpart, the amount of details is so impressive! The moon symbol, the armor, the equipment and spell! YUS!
Also.. those glowy effects oh yusyus and oh, first-person view, awesome!

OMG xDDD And hum... you'd have to offer... Moonlight Butterfly souls/weapons to get on a higher rank I suppose? Hum, for being rare, the members would then PvP to get them, kinda like the Dragon covenant I guess... it'd be awesome.
