First impression: stunned. This photo feels so alive! It is as if one could stick one's hand through and feel it. The detail on the bird is just striking, not to mention the colors. The muted background really compliments the bird, and directs attention to it.
The only thing I see with this is the intricate branches starting under the bird. While these branches help shape the atmosphere, they are very detailed and compete somewhat with the bird as the subject. Otherwise, beautiful photo!

The focus on this is lovely! And the color of the bird really pops out and makes the bird even more of a focal point! The soft colors work wonders in the background too!
