hmmm I dunno how to call this paper in English XD In Portuguese we call it "papel crepon". I believe it's the same material ppl use to make piΓ±atas in mexico, and those Christmas Crackers in UK. It's a very thin and crumpled paper, and u can never ever let it wet, else its paint will stain anything... if you know how it's called, I'd love to learn its name in English! Hope I could help!

YES! I think we call it Crepe here. It comes in a long roll and we hang it from the ceiling (crepe streamer).
So basically we call it the same thing, crepe paper.
I love how language works like that.

Well thank YOU for giving me the name you knew. That allowed me to figure out what I was trying to think of. Too bad it is so easily ruined by water. Knowing me I'd sneeze on it and it would ruin a doll.

ah, plus, because of the water thing, it's such a mess to glue it, cause depending on the glue u use (white glue, for example) it really ruins it... I usually use a glue stick or double sided tape... just a hint ^_^

Huh...probably won't be taking this up as a hobby then. I would mess it up too easily. I'm sure you'll make enough cute stuff for the two of us though! Keep up the good work!
