One of twoNormally, I suck at landscape. But this one turned out beautifully. Taken during my roadtrip across the continental USA.

Yah! It's hard to get that much color out of landscape, especially in the southwest where it's dry and hot - smog and dust and just about everything else stays in the air - makes for washed out photography. This is very nice.

I live in Colorado = dissapointing to have oly a few days a year when pics of the mountains work at all. OTOH, I'm moving to Oklahoma - not much in the way of scenery at all - so I suppose I should be thankful for what I can get.

Cool. You live in Colorado? What are some cool vacation spots in Colorado? (I've been asked for some suggestions by people planning a trip, that's why.) Tough beans on Oklahoma, tho... Hooray cornfields (wait, this is the same for Illinois)... But then, never been there--I'm sure there's something spectacular.

Well, if they are driving, they could go to Golden, see the art musem, which is small but lovely, currently showing Colorado Modernists, and then drive up Lookout Mtn, which has a lovely view, and has Buffalo Bill's grave on top (that's pretty kitchy, but whatever). I don't know - I've never been a tourist in Colorado
