the first in a series.
i forgot to put "mizaru" in the pic, but now i don't really know where i would put it, so, moot point.finally, after many days and much distraction, i finished up this picture. ^^ i am an OC3 addict now.. i had to CG it in that program, and not photoshop 7, evil evil..... (i deleted it actually.)
for those wondering, her outfit was semi-inspired by the RO sage's outfit :3. the boots were my idea X3.

i thought her knees just kinda overlapped eachother rather than disappeared...like one was in front of the other at least the excuse i gave it :-p

Compression's not a problem for me. *Hugs ethernet router* But in any case, first I have to ask what OC3 is. Maybe I know it already and I'm just stupid right now, but it seems like I've never heard of it before. Regardless, everything about this picture is extremely attractive. The texture of her robe type thing, the background, the same regular creaminess of the skin (as per normal for Miss Carrie), and even the pose is fascinating. I like the way this character works, and just by looking at the picture and your art, I can tell I'd like her personality. My only beef is to her knees. Where'd they go? I mean, it's true the picture looks slightly-abstract, and so it's excusable here. But it looks like her knees go under the hanging part of her dress and then just disappear into the Bermuda Triangle or something. As a flaw, it hardly affects the overall appeal of the picture. And of course, it's not enough for people to dislike it, myself included. It's just a little weird. In closing...draw more people like this. Your fans will

thanks, yeah, you're right about the abstract thing - many people lately have been telling me things i should/shouldn't do, and i've been playing a lot with style, and it's been fun ^^ i have noticed the knee problem, but.. yeah
and, yes, there are 2 more coming ^^ "hear no evil" (already scanned) and "speak no evil" which i still have yet to draw

I really like the skin tones, in this one everything is so shiney and colorful, and you did a nice job an the cloth. I don't think the pose would work, but art wise it doesn't matter becuase it easly shows her type of character. Good work!
