Read RIGHT to LEFT.Old unfinished MGS doujinshi centering around Fox...these were just concept pages, but I never got any further. I was testing out my gray markers...ugh, what an ugly page =/

I think this an incredible idea. I think you should continue it. The scratchy look suits mgs really well, and the comics that are out prove that. This is an area in mgs thats not covered very deeply, which means you have a lot of leeway in it. Kinda like the Cobra Days.
Of course, there will be a lot of details that you will have to get right, like types of weapons, military tactics and history, things around the time period, names, allegiances, etc.
Also, you made Fox look way too similar to Kakashi. Fox wasn't that great in handguns, he has a higher rank in submachine guns. I dont expect you to know that, but having one of them would make more sense, since he is Null. The suppressed MAC10 could be used again, just have a sling for it or something, like a tactical one that wouldnt flop around when he jumps around.

Thank you very much! This is an old old concept artwork, so there's a lot of stuff wrong with it. Besides, I was never good at drawing comics
Sorry...this was drawn before I ever even heard of Portable Ops or his "Null" past, therefore I had no clue what was his preferred weapons or whatnot =/ And I've always had a fondness for Kakashi, so I guess that affected his look.
Meh, I'm glad you liked the idea of it though. Maybe someday I'll expand it over, who knows?

You dont have to be perfect with drawing comics. A lot of artists start out really bad, and after doing many pages, thats when things start going good for them.
Yeah, Kakashi is cool. I like how her reads a porn book during a battle with his students.

yeah right xD i have close to no experience towards making comics whereas you seem to draw by the thousands! o.o
besides the markers look fiiiiine whatcha talking about! you should see the stuff i did at SCAD, i tried to fill with black but oh god it looks so layered (i still got em around here, its a comic on how to do something without words and another small comic i did to mah scad friends xD)
