That colorful scheme is wonderful :3
It's amazing how you manage to pull off the shading with such complex color varieties... As well as add an inner universe to the cloth!
I guess you'll need to work a bit upon face-positioning... The left and right eye don't match their direction of stare... And, the neck-gurgle thingy appear a bit too big, like his bones got twisted.
Except that, it's an incredibly beautiful paining, with a unique style, and great result :3
Other than that... Seems like the guy is thinking about something, perhaps just pre-decision of doing something that contains some extant of value to them.
It's the inner rush feeling of "No, don't! You'll ruin everything!" and "If you won't do it now, you'll lose it!" resulting in the "I'm extremely not sure what to say about this" expression that ends up being there now.
