YAY!!! haha, sorry all of you Tifa fans, but i LOVE the Cloud and Aeris pairing, finally it is finished, i have been working too too long on thispainted in photoshop with mouse

thanks so much, clothing is one of m y favorite parts of creating characters and things, so i really wanted to create new clothes for already existing characters, and i love them! hha

Cloud's outfit is nice, but it looks flat- like it's still on the hanger. Aeris's dress=good.

It is very nice and prettiful!! nice colors and shading, but it is still hard to see Cloud dressed like that.

Screw Tifa. We don't need ANOTHER "childhood friend" love story, it will just make Cloud look like a sap. And putting Tifa in a beautiful dress like that would never work, either. ^^ I really like the soft folds in that dress; I can almost feel the poufiness of it, just looking at it. I'm generally not a big fan of fair complexions, but I'll make an exception here; you're getting really good at skin shading, and those shadows have just the right amount of contrast to them. Also, it's refreshing to see Cloud in more normal clothes, after always wearing that SOLDIER uniform.
However, a couple of critiques on the drawing:
-Aeris' arm and hand were drawn flawlessly, but something about Cloud's hand looks really odd; I think the main thing is that his thumb looks too long.
-You did an excellent job of keeping their heads and bodies proportional to each other, but compared to how Cloud is drawn; Aeris' face looks too flat; I think it's mainly because her nose doesn't stick out quite enough. I'm probably not going to be of much help is suggesting exactly how much a difference there should be between the male and female head, though, because your style is clearly more realistic than mine, and I solely specialize in the classic anime look.

Yeah. i do try to keep it in my own style which is the more realistic, but i actually thought that too, but it was too late to fix, to be right i need to make her face a little bitmore out, but i didnt haha

Oh, this probably wouldn't be much help for something like that now, but have you ever tried using the liquify filter? It's actually quite useful for fixing little errors in the lineart, for those times when you don't see it until it's already inked. I know it can work wonders for screw-ups in anatomy, so it could also work for faces, if you're very careful.
