I would agree on the fact I thought the thumbnail was a photo…. xD

However, the snow actually does distract from the painting, because is seems to remove the depth from the piece. I've never attempted snow, so I can't say how to fix this, but you don't want it to look like another layer- you want it to look painted into that lovely picture in the back great job *Kansey20 !

Thanks Dragonflysunning !  For the snow, I added it with snow brush in Photoshop after painting... It is the reason for lost depth

Well, I don't create digital art so to me it was pretty good, and from my personal view it wasn't distracting but to each their own.

Thanks !  He says: where are my frozen squirrel ?   This painting is based on one of my photograph.  He really found a frozen squirrel under snow.  I will make other painting with the series of photos I took
