3ds Max is quite a tool, isn't it!
I mean the interface on its own makes your brain explode.
I need to finish the Amegakure/Cyberpunk/Hong Kong-thingy (a friend of mine went there just recently and she came back with lots of awesome photos so I was inspired immediately) by the end of September, so I'm not sure if I can include actual models of characters, let alone the entire cast of Akatsuki.

Using 2D-assets of the Astral Projection Jutsu might be a solution, otherwise I'll model the Rinnegan and just put the two eyeballs into a dark room
and make them flash as the camera moves past them...sounds macabre.

I LOVE THE DESIGN OF AMEGAKURE! I don't know if you ever watched the Ghost in the Shell films that were directed by Oshii Mamoru, dear, but the second film showcases a city that looks like a beautifully animated Amegakure (here is the scene: www.youtube.com/watch?v=3IGTiF… ), it's a breathtaking sequence. I've always imagined Pain having the townspeople attend these kind of parades in order to worship their freaking godly ruler that he is.

Indeed, so much wasted potential in the series...and Sasuke was right, nothing really changed about the system...in fact, since Naruto became Hokage,
dude looks tired AF (although it was his dream of becoming the ninja president all along). I think Naruto really starts noticing the way the system works, the system he sometimes questioned but in the end chose to defend. As of now, he might be at friendly terms with the Kage of the other nations, but what happens if they get replaced by someone else Naruto isn't familiar with, what becomes of peace then. To me there can't be friendship between nations, only common interests...and if latter fall apart as well, conflict is inevitable. So have fun with another ninja war!

3dsmax melts my brain how did you learnt it by yourself...so much dedication.I learnt from the school but I forget most of it and don't have that much patience to model the whole amegakure wow

I actually learned 3ds Max at university, our teacher is an amazing person and a total badass as far as using 3ds Max goes,

so I thought I wanna become as good as she is and well...YouTube helped me a lot!

As soon as I have something worth showing off I'll send you some screencaps!

I'm trying to model a crow and wind chimes, hopefully make them move in the end...I'm always starting out with the details

and do the easier things at the end.

Uuuh, ZBrush, I haven't used it before! I can also recommend Substance Painter, as far as texturing goes,

this is the best software (to me) out there. The UI is also very similar to Photoshop, so if you know that one, you'll have no trouble

using Substance.

I didn't even click the link and I knew immediately which scene you were talking about!

I wrote a paper about it in a film analysis class...it is truly haunting, how the director is able to tell the audience so much with no words or explanation at all. Brilliant!!

Atsuko Tanake yes ,amazing voice and I am very sure kishimoto inspired Mokoto when making Konan,their attitude is very similar too.
(I mean its very obivious he inspired GITS when making amegakure ahaha) oh a movie analysis how cool and sounds like amazing class.

ps.I totally not belive kishi wanted to do that but in the end he just got sick of everything.

Hahaha, only wiser, not older! And you're only as old as you feel, anyway!

I wish Philosophy was the only thing I studied, dear! At first it was Japanese and Computer Science, then Philosophy which I graduated from within two semesters (it was that easy ).

Afterwards I started working at an office, I got bored. So I decided, I would study Media Sciences and Digital Humanities and do something creative with it (that's when I found out about 3ds Max). Another convenient thing is that I got a job at university where I would be able to teach the younger students in media history between my classes. I have another job besides that, so my social life is limited to being around my friends at university, my little brother at home and my best friend at the other workplace...(I got it all spread out nicely )

That is why I wasn't really able to do anything substantial for deviantART the past years...
BUT, since I'm writing my thesis next semester, finishing one year earlier than the others...vacation is basically around the corner ,

which I'll be spending in Lithuania for six months since I got a scholarship for that. SO YEAH, that is what I have been up to the past years!

Sometimes I feel like it's a little bit too much, but I have wonderful people around me...especially my best friend, he is like the most valuable piece of treasure that walks this planet and I'm so lucky to have him. And you haven't forgotten about me either, dear! Thank you for that! I'm truly blessed!

Sorry for ranting too much!

Awww, that is so nice, learning cool stuff everyday! I also know a student who is going to work for Pixar Animation...I admire such people.

PS: I think so, too! Kishimoto is drawing a SciFi-manga for his next big release, or so I read. I expect a lot of GITS-related stuff in it!
