Description
Oil on canvas, 18x18, 2011.Ninja Red from the musical "Ninja Yell" and its sequels. These shows were written by Ono Hikari, a fan favorite from the Japanese Sailor Moon musicals, as a thank you to her fans for all the years of support. There are a total of seven Rainbow ninjas' (nana iro ninja) and I want to paint them all, but I have to start somewhere. So first up is Ninja Red, the leader of the group who at times finds herself way over her head.

those pink things are suppose to be abstract clouds, I think. I referenced them from the stage play and as this is going to be a series of seven I was going to include bits and peices of set in all of them.
