Short Bio
There is not enough info about Handel's past, but apparently he was always a shy and unsecure person who was always looked down by the other pokemon who considered him weird and a coward. He actually was a pacifist and never liked to fight or hurt others, so he was constantly bullied by stronger pokemon.
He tended to spy at humans who used to camp nearby his place. One day, he listened to a copule of humans enjoying classical music. Enjoying the sound it emited, he kept visiting the same place everyday until he memorized these melodies and soon started to dream to be a musician one day...
One day his trainer found him about to be caught by a Serviper, and Patti rescued him from his inminent demise. Noticing that he had potential, despite his lack of confidence, both Patti and him offered to help the small Froakie on getting stronger. Despite Patti not liking him at first and constantly scolding him for his actions, he quickly started to idolize her and looking up at her as a "big sister", since she helped him to overcome his fears and to gain more confidence on himself, shaping him onto a more brave person. Patti grew fond of him with time, and gave him a hard training until he finally confonted the Serviper and was able to defeat it.
Shortyl enough, the Froakie, in gratitude, agreed to join the trainer's Pokemon team and adopted the name of Handel ((which comes from the famous composer Georg Friedrich Händel, whose wig looks suspiciously like the things that Froakies have on their necks xD)
The coat he wears is meant to represent his affinity to music. He also carries a baton although he merely uses it for show off. Also, the things on his neck which most Froakies have have a small spiral pattern on them.

Personality

Handel is a very shy and reserved person, but very friendly and dedicated to help his team. He can be very insecure on his own abilities at times, but thanks to both Patti and his trainer he has learned to overcome them. Though somewhat naive, he has some knowdelege about the forest and the pokemons that live there. After listening to classical music from humans who used to visit the pond on where he lived, he began to enjoy it a lot and often borrows Patti's MP3 only to listen to this, much for her dismay as she dislikes this genre.
He admires both Patti and Mick ((a Wartortle character i'll be publishing very soon and who's also a member of this team)) and wishes to train and become a competent fighter like them. He's also very loyal to his trainer, who rescued him from his previous situation. Despite his appearance, he's actually young, and gets annoyed whenever a person mistakes him for an old man.
He's specially frightened of snake-like pokemon, specially Serviper and Arbok/Ekans. Since the leader of his pokemon team is a Servine ((which i'll also post in the future)) he also feels a bit scared of her but respects her a lot.

Abilities
Being a water type, he's able of performing many of the usual water type techniques. The only one which has been seen so far is Water Gun (it's possible that he also performs Hydro Pump but this and other abilities aren't confirmed so far). Also, being a frog-based pokemon he's able to leap great distances.
