Welp, I started with some black gogo boots, I made the disks out of wonderflex, bondo and craft foam slumped over a handmade form, then made a wireframe to mount them on so they would stick out from my ankles. The hoops and toe caps I made out of wonderflex and Bondo as well. The knee armor I made out of parts of foam eggs from Michaels and some thick craft foam, and then I put paper mache over them. You can't really see it here, but the glowing stripe was green reflective tape.

Thanks! And it was no biggie. I forgot to mention, these are excessively impossible to walk in. It takes a very long time to get anywhere while walking in these things.

Oh that's good to know! Haha! I think I am going to be doing the knee armor and the side disks, but I am not going to be doing the toe gaurds and the straps, maybe that will make it easier? I hope so! How much do you think it cost for all the materials all together? I'm just looking for a basic price range.

I honestly don't remember. $10 for the Bondo, couple bucks for the craft foam, and then $50 for a jumbo sheet of wonderflex but I use that stuff for other things too. Don't remember how much the shoes were.
