You colored this in half an hour? Wow, I'm slow. Lol. You did an amazing job and it's nice to be productive. I hope you get some rest in between though.

Yeah I rushed, his turtleneck is missing shading though I just noticed X'D
I was surprised when you said your stuff takes 1-2 hours though, I'm honestly trying to find better coloring methods because everything that ISN'T a doodle takes 3+ hours or so in the coloring phase :'D

The lining, coloring, and shading takes about an hour and a half, but the sketch included would probably take like an extra 30 or 40 minutes, because I get indecisive about it lol. It's no big deal, other artists are a lot faster than me and they even draw a complex background in that short amount of time. So, no worries. Could I ask what you do during the coloring process? Do you already have most of the colors in your mind already or do you just wing it?

I see, I see! It's still fast though, actually, sketching probably takes me just as long if not longer to be honest OTL I've tried doing lines over a rough sketch but it never worked out that well for me, but I should practice it because I think it's one of the more important parts of speeding up your drawing process, along with having a neater rough sketch!! Right?! I don't know how they do it :'DĀ
During the end of the sketching phase, I do a color/background test for the colors so the base colors part will go faster! I mostly wing it when it comes to the shading part, but sometimes I plan the lighting and shade palette beforehand if I think it's important haha XD

I don't really test the colors, usually, I just try to plan it in my head and go with the flow if I decide to change something on the fly during the coloring process. My sketches are super detailed, so I totally understand what you mean by that. I wish I could do a rough and simple sketch, but it's not easy. I wish you luck on trying to get faster. I'll need that luck, too.
