The colors and detail again are excellent, this is another one of those pictures that just draws me in. It's like a fantasy land. I love it.

I love this. It looks so peaceful and serene. Like a land in which your troubles can melt away. I wanna live in a place like that someday.

The trees look like an oldgrowth forest, and if I were walking through them I think I would expect to come across something magical any second. The island looks so peaceful, and the soft, blurry colours seem to distort the perspective so that you can't tell how far away it is. Like if you were alive and you tried to get there, you would never be able to make it all the way across the water.

This is so very gorgeous. It has a very soft, dreamlike feel to it; but in contrast, everything is so perfectly proportioned that you get the illusion of it being real! The trees close to the viewer frame the background wonderfully.. you are really a master in composition.

another great piece. the way the trees frame the island is a good idea. to be honest i like the foreground better than the background although both are very good. amazing work!

The colours look a little faded and fuzzy, but that's probably due more to the camera or scanner than the painting.
The trees and plants in the foreground are pretty detailed and realistic. Their somewhat twisted shapes make them seem rather old, like one of those pines that spends a hundred years just to grow three metres tall. They look very peaceful, somehow, as if nobody has ever come by to disturb them for a hundred years.
I can't quite tell how close the edge of the water is, though. I can't quite tell if the shorter shapes are trees or mushrooms, and so it's hard to get an idea of how close or far it is. Maybe it's easier to tell on the original, though, since the colours aren't so faded.
The island of Arnuna, in contrast to the trees, (which, despite being a little unusual, are something you could see in real life if you looked for them,) looks almost magical. The island overall seems to be natural, though its unusual shape makes me think of an ice fortress from some folktale I once read. The softer, blue colours with the red and yellow clouds behind look peaceful, and draw attention to it, in contrast with the green of the trees.
My favourite part of this painting is the bird. I really like the detail and colour on it, and it somehow really adds something to the painting. It makes the painting seem a little more alive and vibrant, and makes the mood of the painting somehow happier.
Overall, this is a really well-done, beautiful, original painting.

This is simply lovely. Your brush must be about 2 hairs thick to acheive that kind of detail on a 10x12 canvas.

I really like the oriental feel of the gnarled branches of the trees on the right.
