I got so tired of WAITING for this to be done while it was at 99% that I decided to try and fake the willow branches. a;ldja;djfa;lkdf I'll change it one day when I get access to a tablet, Orz|||SO!!! Here it is, finished.
I'm actually pretty impressed, myself. 
I've never colored a picture where I actually SHADED IT like it was backlit, so I think that's a huge step for me, heeee~ I admit that the light from the lantern could have been exaggerated a bit, but considering the glow it throws off is green, it was giving me a real hard time.I guess.... comment as you will.
The completion of this picture has made me really started to AtDCL, I wish November would come already. XDDDDD I was going to use this as the cover image, but I actually drew something else I think will fit really well, so I'll need you guys to choose, okay?

Well you directed me here and I don't know if I like it better than the other one. On one hand, the lighting and background is absolutely incredible. There is a mystical flare surrounding the entirely of it all, giving this world a spectacular life. On the other hand your character's anatomy is a bit jarring this time around; maybe it is because the lighting does not fit his exaggerated features. This is still a wonderful picture nonetheless however, you did an excellent job.

I didn't direct you here because I thought you might like it more, just that... it's refreshing to have such an intellectual comment, and I was thinking that, since this picture and The Marshes have so many similarities, you might enjoy it... at all.
I'm really flattered that you think the lighting and background are worthy of such praise! ^___^ Admittedly, this is only my second picture with any real attempt at background (serious attempt, at least), with The Marshes being third.
I'm also sorry that you find the anatomy jarring--admittedly, I do too; when I look at my art I see a work in progress of my style, since I really do dislike the way I draw, and I'm sorry to say that the extremes of anatomy are indeed just my own incompetence. But perhaps once my style has finally settled into something I like it'll keep those extremes--I am a bit fond of them. 8D

My goodness, I must applaud you for being so mature about this. Not everyone can take any criticism.
Don't worry, I don't think your anatomy as bad per say, I just think that with the way you draw your characters they fit certain colors, and others they do not. That is what makes it so unique and interesting.
