MWAHAHAHAHA! It's finally DONE!God, this thing took forever. I did it for a pixeljoint challenge, and it's the closest I've ever come to missing the deadline. Anyway, it's over and done with.
The challenge was to create a mockup no larger than 320x240 pixels, using no more than 32 colors, depicting the last boss fight for a fictional game. So that's what I did. And boy was it ever hard to squeeze all of this into 32 colors. I'm... not great at color management.
I suppose the game would be a sort of Castlevania-ish romp through dark castles and magical libraries and all sorts of things, where the main character (a magician of some sort) uses a magical book to call forth attacks and vanquish demons summoned to the earth by a crazed alchemist, seen here fused with a demon.

Awesome work. Your hero character reminds me of that chick from Silhouette Mirage. Great getting it into 32 colours as well. You would've been good working on early console games.
