This reminds me of the tree topper.
I wonder if these patterns could be applied to it!

Thank you! Means a lot coming from you.. I use the pen tool in photoshop, you just have to play around with it. It's very much like using illustrator and vector tools. I was going to use my pens for this, but the stupid cats turned over my ink bottles and they leaked. I didn't realize it until the next day. Now I've got a big stained tablecloth and a spot on my table..
Thank you for faving it!

Thank you.. I wouldn't say that, I fiddle around a lot too.. I've tried to explain to others, the idea may take weeks, sketching, doodling.. I've got about 4 pages of just triangles and knotwork inside it doodled in a sketchbook. So that when I sit down, it's already clear in my mind.

fluffy! I love it. if you use the "save for web" feature in PS, you will have a little bit of control over compression/quality.

Thanks muchos! I appreciate it and will certainly try that. And yes, it is fluffy.. No deep existential meaning, just a doodle drawn on paper..

Pencil and paper.. then once I've got the pattern down pat, I use the pen tool in Photoshop to create a clean line. I was going to use acrylic ink, but the *Spasm* cats turned over my ink bottles on the kitchen table and they ruined my table cloth, two watercolor board books, etc.. I have no acrylic ink at the moment..

I started sketching out the knots about 2 days ago.. before I went to bed, so all told, maybe 4 hours?
