Description You would think my obsession with Moana would be over...but you would be wrong!! Haha
It continues!^-^
So this is just a warm up sketch I did to practice since it's been a while since I've drawn. Plus I've been wanting to draw Moana with her hair in a bun! So to birds, one stone!
She ended up a bit darker then I meant but that's ok! haha She just got extra sun
There's also not as much detail since it began as a sketch but overall I think it's not bad considering its been a while! haha
More to come! I'm back for the summer!^-^

No problem, really. Since seeing pics of authentic South Pacific peoples, especially those from Fiji, it's not so far-fetched that Moana could have had darker skin and hair like this. Please keep it up.

Haha thank you!! Yes my dad is Pacific Islander/Japanese and he gets muchΒ darker in the summer when he's outside a lot!

I think that's awesome! My aunt on my mom's side of the family once told me that we have Chinese in our ancestry....my great-great-great-grandmother. I do know some Chinese can get a bit darker in the sun too. I hope you see lots more art from you. Best of luck and drop by sometime!
