I began that before my exams (1 week ago) an I finished this yesterday. I got the idea at school, it was just a sketch... but I wanted to draw a CG
At first, the colouration was... erm, very crappy, green tones... I don't know how it turned to this
I don't know why I make this kind of drawing, like Tea time, it's a little gothic, with a strange atmosphere (and checkered floors
). It's not like I'm in a strange mood...I hope you'll like this

I like the checkered floors, it reminds me of Soul Eater and the "Black Room", except there it's red and black... Exceptionally good work withe the color and everything, it looks so realistic.

I saw your profile, and your gallery~ it's so awesome! How can you have an easy coloring style I wonder? You speak French, that is an amazing thing! (I used to when I was little but miraculously lost the ability) But I have one question....how do you usually start coloring? And, is copic sketch easy to use?

If you're asking for CG drawing... It depends... When I want to draw something with an atmosphere, I begin with one layer where I just search for the right colors...

(Well... The floor and the light are on different layers)
But when it's only a simple drawing, like a cel-shading, I just begin directly with flat colors of each part (skin, hair, top, skirt,...) on different layers...
And I usually begin with the skin, the hair, and then the eyes ?

And about the Copics Sketch... they're really easy to use !
Seriously. You just have to be quick (to blend the colors before it dry...)
But their also DAMN EXPENSIVE !
Drawing on computer costs nothing, except the price of a tablet, so I prefer my computer when I have to draw backgrounds...

Eh, the art got better as the series progressed in the manga. But the show really is my favorite... except for the last episode (gets extremely angry)

Yep, depends on the drawing, but sometimes, I go up to 60+ layers... And I know people who draw with +100 layers (But then, it's one of those freaking drawings with loads of details). Actually, there's nothing special in my way of colouring

Take care, because the left hand of the boy looks like a right hand.
Don't forget to draw the shadow on their clothes, and it's kind of strange because the hair of the boy have cel-shading shadow, but for the girl, it's quite blurry.
If you're not sure for the color, you can try to change the Hue/Saturation... Maybe you'll find something interesting.
I think you should work more on the shading, but I think they're really cute together =3

*o* il est superbe ce dessin et la colo tue, le seul truc que je trouve un peu bête ( après faut voir u__u) c'est la lumière provenant de l'éclair, tu l'a appliqué uniformément sur la fille et ça l'aplati à ces endroit. mais le dessine reste super *w*.
