I like the symbolism of the Phoenix as a dividing force between Jean Gray and Cyclops. Quite emotive.

First: the obligatory GREAT WORK!! It seems a bit excessive with these comments but you deserve it.
Second: This actually happened. Phoenix came back to earth looking for Jean again and pulled her body out of the ground to possess it. Through the storyline (I think it was the mini series Phoenix: End Song) Emma ended up with the entity. Been a while since I read it so I can't remember how that ends, but.. yeah..... Emma did have the Phoenix power if briefly.

Love the cool blue of the foreground vs the warm oranges of the background. Makes for a good focal point. Also that shading is ace and the fire really enhances that movie-poster-like composition.
