since we're all bragging about our babies, it was an appropriate time for me to upload this
these are my film babies that i *gasp* took a digital photo of...how else could i get them all in it? i made nine separate wax transfers onto birch planks and them bolted them all together from behind.

here's a good tutorial: [link] i don't use acetone, however, i did this all with water. it was incredibly tedious. each panel took about four hours to do. i watched a lot of netflix during the creation of this one

i did transfers of these two, also: [link] [link] but like a dumbass i didn't take a photo of the finished pieces. one of them i gave to a friend.
i think i'm going to attempt some more large transfers for the show i have coming up next month; i think i want to try it with the photo i just posted yesterday. i see more netflix in my future.
