this is for Lesson 27! Deimos can summon spectral/phantom weapons
He can technically wield them?? They weigh nothing to him since they're just energy, but he can feel their power. It's like a warm sensation?? Either way, he doesn't even really have to hold them cause they just float around and he tells them what to do. He's a bit rusty using these things since he literally hasn't tried once since he's been in the academy. Deimos is too scared to use them on actual people. So for the demonstration he only used his attacks on dummies - which isn't the best way to showcase his power.
The weapons don't do very much physical damage until you're hit with them a bunch. They attack the mind of a person first, and then slowly makes its way throughout the physical form.
While the pain is real, there aren't any cuts or slashes left behind like normal weapons. They just phase through people and leave behind pain.
So, while the display was very eye catching and pretty, the results were minimal at best. Poor boy.
