Finished August 2011. This is a fanart of Cheetara from the 2011 Thundercats cartoon. Drawn, inked, and colored in Photoshop.I absolutely love the new series! I just started watching it recently and have been excited about it since I first saw the trailer for it some time ago. If you haven't seen the new series yet, definitely check it out!

i'm at odds about the new series, i'm interested, but i'm sorta sick of things going all animu.
The original series was drawn by a Korean company, so the animation was already pretty sexy. ~_~
Like the series because it drew new fans, hate the series because of the fans it drew.

Lol, I can understand. I try to not let that bother me. For me, I rather see cartoons turn to "animu" then see them degrade any more like the rest of Cartoon Network. It just really bothers me to see the quality of cartoons fall as much as they have over the last couple of years.
But yeah, I'm mostly liking it so far for the story and the animation studio behind this series I highly respect as well. So this show has been a good marriage of quality writing and great animation, unlike some other "animu" shows I've seen lingering on some of the other networks.

Yeah i agree, ofc i like the animu style, its just starting to become a trend, like clothing/fashion.
I love the thundercats, and like the premise of this new show. I just don't like when people ONLY watch something because it's turned anime, because otherwise it wouldn't be 'cool' enough then we have people who...well mess it up for the rest of us, so to speak. I love to spread the thundercat love to people who are fans of animation in general no matter the origin.
Hell, i love chowder, flapjack, and regular show; they're hilarious, but a different type of hilarity than anime, doesn't mean they're bad. C:
