Description Something for my AP art portfolio. I'm focusing on animals (mostly fantastic/ funny looking ones). For some reason, I've always thought hyenas would make good gangsters (hence my Capone ) This is sorta like a realistic version of him or something.

The cigar is what tops it, I think.

Anyway, I'm overall pretty pleased with the way this turned out. Looks a lot better in person though. Done in art pencil and chalk.

Comments greatly appreciated. Even more than faves. And critique is welcome. After all, I'm trying to make a good impression on people who'll see my portfolio.

I might touch up in Photoshop later on.

Wow! This is amazing! After so much cartoon work, it's always great.
Those boogely eyes and that scruffiness fits in perfect for the unkempt
and dirty gangster type!

I know. She never did care for alot of things that I did either. The cigar makes the entire picture though, otherwise it wouldnt be a mobster/gangster hyena.
