i spent there almost a month, we took a car and tried to visit so many parts of the country as we could (the only thing - i didn't see was Dubrovnik cuz there were too many tourists at that time and we wanted some authenticity ) so i can say i really saw Croatia i was enormously impressed with the beauty of this country. i've been to many places really, but this is one of my favorites, very particular and absolutely stunning. I loved everything: the fantastic nature (it was the end of august and the beginning of september so the colors were so vivid and bright) and - hehe sure for the tourists - we went to see Plitvicka jezera - unbelievable! Loved the beautiful cities with the medieval flare, especially Porec, Rovinj and Rieka, Zagreb sure too and lots of little towns with their narrow streets and hills. Loved the sea. I'm sure i will get back again. it's like a fairytale
and i remember there was another similar festival in Krk also.
i shot tons of photos but i was an analogue photographer then so i have to scan the films to put them here

oh thank you Karmen i wish i could return one day, plus there're so many textures there and i agree - they places there are so different - you can find almost all you want! from beautiful nature scapes to modern architecture to roman ruins to atmospheric narrow streets.
i found some films at home, but most of them are at my parents where i lived at that time and don't live now. i'll put them out as soon as i scan the films
