Description Project for art class for the Day of the Dead, or dia de los muertos.
I am not a big fan of using colored pencil seeing as i am still practicing with them.... i prefer markers, richer smoother colors

Well, despite your inhibitions, I think you kicked some major ass with those colored pencils. What kind did you use?

And El Dia de los Muertos is only one of the AWESOMEST holidays EVAH XD

Thank you very much! I used Prismacolor colored pencils, except for the skin tones: used Prang colored pencils.
And i toatlly agree, except for Halloween, Day of the Dead is the bestest holiday (which makes since considering both holidays are basically about spirits ~@,@~ whoooow!) PS: x-mas is already totally steping all over poor Halloween T...T curses!

I KNOW!!! Halloween is absolutely my FAVORITE holiday. Except I'm in complete anguish at the moment because I have NO idea what I'm going to be. IT'S TRAGIC!!!!!!!! D8>

Christmas IS overrated. It's mostly commercialism under the guise of family togetherness. >.>

this is for family togetherness and commercialism --> with love
what's more tragic is i dont think i am going to be celebrating halloween (as in costums) this year, dont really have any plans for celebration.
I am going to be eating the hell out of all the candy (mostly stolen from little kids)

You make art projects look more fun then they probably are.
This looks friggen sweet! Makes me wish we had Day of the Dead here (not speaking of the Romero movie.) Love the dualized depictions of anatomy.

Thank ya I tend to want to put alot of work into a project cause if i dont i get bored with it half way through.... maybe i have ADD or some form of it. OH well
