...you should know...im in love with this. Sounds bigheaded i know, but when you experiment and it works out...its just the best feeling. This one means alot to me. If only you could see the smile on my face!
So this was entirely hand made with indian ink, obviously not the lettering. Speaking of which this was inspired by those lyrics, from a beautiful song called 'burning benches' by morning runner. The second i heard this song, what you see above came into my head (exept the wings, they were an afterthought). Theyre a very new band over here. check out their site: [link]

Okay I'll make a comment on this one. And if I point out things wrong doesn't mean I'm saying I can do better but I'm just very skeptical about things is all. Shadowing is the most excellent thing about this whole picture. Me however, I don't have the patience sometimes to do so, I have to be interested to do so. Okay the bad about this picture; Vegeta's mouth is a bit out of porportion, Gokou's wings are too jaggedy, if I even spelt that right and your clothes need a lot of improvement, preffering mostly to Gokou's pants and shoes for this picture. Oh and lets not for get the ears and your hairlines, a bit off but hey, you're one of the top ten best drawers for Akira Toriyama's style art that I've seen so far.

agreed. contrast and detail is lacking on his clothes. and agree about the mouth, he looks somewhat gormless. as far as the wings are concerned, im happy with them the way they are. it is afterall an interpretation, and there arnt any cannon styles, and for the context of the picture they suit (bedraggled, mood-reflective etc.) ...that and i havent got the hang of -drawing- softness, so i couldnt if id wanted to (so youre part right) ^^ penmanship practice! and thank you very much, im really flattered.

Actually I was pointing out was was wrong in general, cannon or not. I do it with my art to. I don't even have my best art in this state to post it up. Nor have I had the time to take my time to draw a nice slow picture that would probably turn out quite decent if I did. O_O. I'm suprised that I have time to come on here to make comments talk to you people. Luckily I type 102 wpm so it doesn't take that long for me to do so.

theyre brilliant, you can buy a pot of the stuff and use paintbrushes, quill pen with whatever tip...theyre just so flexible (and really good for people with no clue how to draw with computers!) but for the really dark bits its easier to use the pens to avoid screw ups (your in england arnt you? i recommend Faber Castell pens) Anyway thanks so much for the fave
