Im happy!i actually started this about two months ago, coming back to it every now and again. i only got it right (in my eyes anyway) about three weeks ago, when i FINALLY nailed goku's figure. i actually love the sketch for this before i painted it.

ive been watching the ocean dubbed saiyan and namek sagas, so this is like a wierd, hybrid style thats rubbed off on me. i like the non-bulky raw sketchyness of those sagas alot better. i prefer pretty much everything about those sagas (apart from the horrible cutting and lack of Vegeta's funi theme)
This is one of those 'what ifs'. and i cant remember what it was exactly.
basically a carry on of goku and vegeta's first fight. exhaustion, desire and instinct take over as will gives in. i like that, the magnetism i believe to be between those two. anyway, watercolour, brown and black indian ink pens, sepia ink and OH MY GOD the scan was so rubbish i had ALOT of paint shopping to do, and by some miracle fluke i managed to press all the right buttons. it looks almost idential to the original now!

Hm. An interesting "What If?" I wonder how the rest of the series would go if this ACTUALLY happened...
I love the shading, as well as the character's figures. The expressions are just what I'd expect from a scene like this. Overall, I love it. 5 stars. OVER NINE THOOUSAAAAAND likes from me.

This is a really amazing piece, as i do enjoy the pairing i usually have mixed feelings on how buffed up people make Veggie and Goku ya know?! but you did it wonderfully. I dont think the creator could have pulled off such and epically blissful scene

And yeah, I actually just added it as my desktop. Gosh, it's so pretty. I even showed it to my mom, who hardly knows anything about DBZ and isn't really "for" homosexuality, but she also thought it was very good.

they really are very thick paints, hugely malleable in terms of strength of colour..and it says 'Windsor and Newton' on the front! So lol yeah that must be it, the quality! Seriously im so pleased you made it your wallpaper, the fact that you like it so much that its the first thing you see every time you use your comp..thats like..10 +favs in my book!

Hey.. a semi-random question. Are these Indian paints like oil paints in regards to being able to paint over other colors? I haven't ever worked with oil paints, but my friend insinuated that with oil paints, you can basically just cover up other colors no problem. Is that the same for these paints that you use? If so, I can imagine that'd be pretty useful.

That up there, thats watercolour. Painting over what youve already done in them is a NIGHTMARE, but it can be done. Oil paints are dead easy to redo if you make a mistake, but they take days to dry (to an extent that it doesnt smudge by accident). Im a little scared of using them, firstly because unless you use a properly prepared canvas the fibre rots and falls away over time, and secondly the smudging thing. But maybe ill give it a try some time!

Just fyi, this image is *still* my wallpaper. Granted, I've been in Europe the past two weeks, but I honestly love seeing this all the time! The warmth from the colors and the warmth from the intensity of the characters. I don't know how I'm going to find a replacement wallpaper =X
