Nice work love the loose strokes. However if you want some critique I'm missing the source of light, is it from the front or from the side, is it night or day, even if it is night there has to be the shadow from the girl and there isn't any. Colours close has to be more bright and warm than the colours further. Love the girls hair and the details on the dress however there is lack of detail on hands and feet in comparison with all the rest. Try to use reference pictures

Thanks, I always like constructive criticism, and/or a good critique I'm self taught, so most of the things I do in artwork are trial and error. I'll keep what you said in mind for my next project. Oddly enough this is my first time painting a colour painting of a person. The rest have been either sepia or black and white.

The colors are beautiful, the details on the girl amazing, and the blue touches in the greenery are really something. Amazing job.

Thanks Believe it or not, after over 20 years of painting experience this is actually my first full colour painting of a person. The rest of my portraits and whatnot have been black and white and/or sepia before this.
