> Knight ABM-7 - Next Generation Knight . UTL & Alpin Corporation presents the future MBT for United Kingdoms of Sahara . This tank his the most modern MBT UTL build , ABM7 will replace the old Knight MK6 / MK6A1 / MK6A2 .
> In 1995-2002 UTL was start an new program called Advance-Base-Modern MBT the Military wants an tank armed with 130 mm smoothbore-gun , 1x 30mm auto-cannon , 2x light machine guns , 1x remote heavy machine gun , unmanned turret , and an similar revolver autoloader system like Knight MK6 but much faster .
> In late 1996 3 prototypes was build the code name was X-U-M-P-7 * Experimental Universal Modern Platfrom 7 the tank was an Kngiht MK6 with new experimental composite armor ARTA-4.1 , the old engine Kupin was change with Gholiat XE-16 an experimental Gas-Electric-Turbine-Engine with insane 1800hp , new hydropenumatic suspension TFT-4 builded by Alpin Corporation and an Electric-transmission TULIP-RP-3 with 8 foward gears , 3 reverse and the maximum speed on road was 90km/h without any sheels but the speed was too much and the track are comes-off very easy and damage the road wheels and the speed was limited on 82km/h.
> One prototype was armed with 140mm gun from Kngiht MK7 Project E for some tests . In 2002 the project was stoped due the develop of Dingo-Raptor but was resume in 2009 and the tank receive an new and the most powerfull gun UTL ever put on MBT JTC-1 this gun can shoot APFSDS-Telescopic-Trailing (1956 m/s) it can penetrate 2 meter of raw steel / 700-1000 mm at 0-60 degree , 300-105mm at 77-83 degree composite armor , HEAT-FS (1020 m/s) 1200 mm pen , AMP-Round (1956 m/s) 700-900 mm , ATGM (340 m/s) 1250 mm .
> The ABM-7 receive new Trophy active protection V5 , an 180 degree smoke-grenades launchers , the experimental engine Gholiat XE-16 was standardized to Gholiat E6 and have 1800 hp , the transmission remain the same as suspension . The armor was change to ARTA 4.3 with anti-thermal ceramic-cooling plates .
> The armor his classified . New electronics , sights, anti electronic-warfare system , laser-warning system etc . The first tank left the gates of factory in 2013 and after alot of test this tank enter in service in 2015 from 2015 to present 20 ABM-7 was build .
