Description
This was recently found in the South Lake Archives, this is the last known photo of steam running in revenue service, even though the W5 4-8-6 lasted into the 60s, no photos exist of them running, at least none we are aware of, and luckily on the back there was a date inscribed, March 18th 1952, an old photo dating back roughly over 70 years The photo seems to be a double header between the Sole SLRR 2-8-8-2 and a, SLRR Alco J5 4-8-2.
