Guess who my main in Mario Kart 8 is! It was just a simple doodle of Rosalina, then it grew into THIS over the days! I'm honestly really proud of this one.As much as I adore Rosie, I find it a little... unsetting for her to be playable so often in the new games. Given that she's WAY older than other characters and that she possesses the deity-like powers. Yeah. At least she doesn't neglect her duties as Knuckles does. It's also amazing how wise, caring and motherly she is. So I tried to depict that. I hope I've done her justice!
Done with Faber-Castell Artist Pitt Brush pens, Sakura Pigma Micron/Graphic and Sakura Souffle/glaze pens. Brightness and contrast edited in Paint Tool SAI. Rosalina and Lumas belong to Shigeru Miyamoto/Nintendo. Art belongs to Juricha.

I know from personal experience, that it can be difficult to redraw pieces and get the same emotion behind them. Also, over time, our personal style changes so it's hard to say. It's always worth a try, right?

I agree that it's sad she's suddenly everywhere. Especially the baby Rosalina in MK8. It really kinda drives me crazy they'd make her playable. First off, it's not anything like the young her we saw in Mario Galaxy. But worst of all for a girl like me, they already have a baby Wario character from a Yoshi's Island game and they don't make him playable?!

And on another note, I honestly don't understand all the fuss about Roy AND Chrom NOT being in SSB4 - they felt really bland in their respective games and would be 'yet another swordsman' in SSB. Lucina's a girl, at least, and has her differences, despite being a Marth clone.

I agree. I mean, I liked Roy in Melee, but I don't need him to enjoy the game. And as for Lucina, I'm actually a little excited for her. I never could play Marth for one or two tiny problems, but with her I may actually be able to get the hang of a lighter sword player (I say lighter as I play Ike well). Though I'm more likely to learn Robin regardless, as I like the option to switch up mu moves like that, lol!

I'm more leaning toward Zelda, as she was my main in Brawl! Also Greninja, because he's the best starter, alongside Samurott!
