What wonderful traditional-like piece! If I honestly didn't know any better, I would say this was made with colored pencils or some paint-like medium. You've got a really nice technique going for you e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Wink)"/>
I really love how you colored the sheep. You got the highlights down on them. The warm shadows at the bottom of their coats is done tastefully. I also like how you made the sheep in warm colors instead of bright whites. I wished would've carried the same highlight/shade method to the characters or at least the girl. On her dress I would've like to see more dark contrast near the bottom of her skirt and maybe see more highlights on the top of her head and maybe her chest too. That would've really gave this piece more character and some dynamics.

I find it really interesting that you kind of got two styles of drawing characters in this piece. The girl in the red dress looks a little more realistic with her eyes and her hair naturally flowing down with gravity. But the characters behind her are a little more cartoony. The yellow-haired girl has gravity-defying ponytails and no any kind of lips that the girl in red dress has. Also, the other two characters are very cartoony in look in relation to the girl in the red dress. I honestly would've like to see you stick to one style for all the characters because they honestly don't look much alike.

The background you have made is amazing, I love that you put a little town or living-in houses far in the distance. That was a nice detail. The mountains are very pretty too.

The poses you did for the characters and the sheep are really well done. They look very natural and believable.

Overall, you did really well on this piece. I think you need a little more contrast between light and dark in your coloring and you need to figure out what style you want to go with for this artwork, but otherwise you have great talent in creating beautiful original works that are believable and natural. Really nice job! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Wink)"/> <3

P. S. THOSE SHEEPIES ARE SO CUTE!!!
