Homeworld: Crune (Destroyed)

Personality: A complete coward and scaredy-cat, Shadowplay hates interacting with pretty much anyone and everyone and mostly just keeps to himself, staying out of the way and huddling off in a corner somewhere. In an effort to drive more people away so he can be alone, he's taken on traits from several other aliens in order to act as creepy and unsettling as possible without ever actually hurting others. In truth, he's just a shy and frightened little thing who wants to have friends, but he doesn't believe he deserves them.

--Acting similarly to the Pokémon move "Substitute", Shadowplay creates this doll to wear out of his own life-force as a means of defense, letting it absorb hits while keeping his mysterious true form beneath the disguise a secret.

Weaknesses:
-Shadowplay can be harmed by Light-based attacks.
-The mold present on Shadowplay's doll suit may cause it to break down and be destroyed prematurely, forcing him to either flee or create a new one.
-The zipper on the doll's mouth can be zipped up and closed, leaving Shadowplay blind until he can undo it again.
-Shadowplay's doll suit can be burned and destroyed by high temperatures and fire, as well as made heavy and difficult to move if soaked in water.
--Subsequently, water will cause the mold on Shadowplay's doll suit to grow.
-If Shadowplay's defenses can be bypassed, his true form is incredibly fragile and even a couple simple punches can prove fatal.
-Shadowplay is vulnerable to Magic, specifically certain types of trapping or binding spells.
-If the three claws keeping Shadowplay upright are destroyed, he'll become sluggish and unable to move until they can regenerate later when AJ times out.

Trivia:
-Shadowplay's personality and color scheme is based on the Pokémon Mimikyu.
-It is unknown as to what the planet Crune was like in terms of geography, nor what the Slimox species were like as a people, as their planet and race were both seemingly wiped from existence before even the Galvan gained sapience.
--The Sigmatrix only gained Slimox DNA thanks to the efforts of Professor Paradox, who subsequently gave AJ information on what Shadowplay can do, what he is and where he's from, but no more than that.
---AJ's personal theory is that Crune was a planet perpetually covered in darkness and shadows that rested on the outskirts of the Anur System, and that it was once inhabited by a nameless race of entertainers and craftsmen that frequently made toys for children. However, the planet was then abandoned when the perpetual darkness set in and the shadows came to life. The shadows then learned of the dolls and became able to craft their own and wear them as a disguise, evolving to become the Slimox.
