So I had this headcanon for what Greg and Rose would look like if they did manage to fuse~ Greg would probably first cry out of happiness then go rub it in Pearl's face, and Rose would be super excited too since they would be the first humanxgem fusion instead of Stevonnie > v <Imagine. Two grown ass goofy adults. Fused into one giant grown ass goofy adult.Β

Seriously, though, I love this. I honestly do wish Gems and Humans could fuse under normal circumstances, largely because I think it might have helped Greg and Rose along a bit. That being said, I don't think anyone has any room to complain about how things have turned out regardless. Steven himself is an amazing kid.

Yeah, this is probably what theyβd look like if they did fuse that one time, but my theory is that they used some unethical endeavor of gem science used to extract the essence from any organic entity and add that essence to a gem (and vice versa) or have a gem fuse to become one with a human being with all the ups and downs that come with it (ex. the human seeing all the gemβs memories and vice versa) since this is a scientifically engineered fusion and nothing like regular fusion, with the end result, the gem baring a human/gem hybrid within. You know, if that turned out to be the story behind Stevenβs conception, that would be cool. Β
