This shot reminds me of the prelude scene in the movie Dune; where the princess gives the prelude lines & staring deeply at the viewer/audience.
I can picture you saying "...the spice exists on only one planet in the entire universe. A desolate, dry planet with vast deserts. The planet is Arrakis; also known as Dune. "
