Hi Deviant Art!This is my very first digital painting. I got blown away by Jonas De Ro's work and got inspired: "I gotta learn that!" did I think that day...
Mouse-painted in Photoshop, this was mostly a cave with some light effect when I realized it needed a subject: THE CRYSTAL!!!! Or call it a Savepoint, whatever.
Mistakes I'm aware of: can clearly tell the crystal was added later, and its weeeeirrd rock that supports it as well.
What I learned there: atmospheric depth, light effets, composition.
