It is. But its the legendary 4 icons. Pac Man, Mario, Sonic and Mega Man. Lolz its event in the trailer for Pac Man. But I say if anything just include them all. Be nice too.

Great wallpaper, that soft shading merges the character pictures well with the white background.
Just of curiosity, wouldn't it be more of a logical choice to add Sonic instead of Samus?

Well, maybe but
1. I'm not a huge sonic fan
2.There's no actual 8 bit version of sonic :/

Well... that's explains it.
On the other hand, with the MasterSystem and GameGear versions of Sonic1 and 2, there are actually 8bit sprites of him.
They got changed for later games such as Sonic Chaos though.
But I guess that's random trivia for that matter.
