UPDATE: Fixed Ryōta's arm and leg proportions.

Now what we have here is a unique addition to my gallery of original characters. He first appeared as a blank slate character I cosplayed as at Hyper Japan (twice), and again at a Japanese Halloween party in London this year, but as a wizard. For a good while he went unnamed, until now! This here is my official design of the newly-dubbed "Ryōta Higashimoto", based primarily on a drawing of me I got from the maid café at this summer's Hyper Japan. I have grown quite attached to him as a result of being him a couple of times. I have come up with a good dose of characterisation for this guy too. Are you ready?

Ryōta (also spelled "Ryouta") is a handsome and plucky, if not cheeky, Japanese high school student who lives with his parents in Tokyo. He likes girls, video games, movies, manga, tonkotsu ramen, and going on adventures in the big city he calls home. Because his parents are both employed and work long hours, Ryōta has developed a wanderlust and sometimes feels inspired to go on an excursions after school to somewhere cool in Tokyo, of which his parents are often oblivious to, and will do his best to always return home before they do. Ryōta's favourite subjects at school are science and geography, but he doesn't enjoy maths and does poorly at English.
