A “Pyrovore” is a type of Tyranid that feeds on all the biomass it can find in a world under invasion by the hive mind, having an insatiable hunger, all the organic material it can consume from corpses, bones, armor and stones will be digested. and transformed into useful fuel for the advance of the great devourer; Each “Pyrovore” has a symbiotic weapon on its back that allows it to throw a curtain of flames that reduces its enemies without escape into a pile of charred meat available for consumption among the smoldering ashes. (The only warning of its attack is a screeching roar.) 🔥🍴
Facing a “Pyrovore” in combat becomes more risky if the “biomorph” is wounded or injured because the ichor in its blood and the gases in its stomach are highly volatile, generating a tremendous explosion that chars an area with a foul stench. Some “OrdoXenos” scientists theorize that the explosion of a “Pyrovore” is a biological mechanism that works as revenge against its executioner. 💥
