In 1956, the Soviet Union stated a top-secret program entitled, the Red Room. The goal was to brainwash and train young woman between the ages of 10-18 to become the ultimate super-spy, also named the Black Widows. When she was 13, Natasha Romanoff was kidnapped by the Soviet Union in Russia, along with her younger sister Yelena Belova, and was trained and brainwashed, as well as gotten her Inhuman gene unlocked, giving her the ability to camouflage into her environment. Later, in 1997, she was rescued by Director Fury after Nat tried assassinating Swordsman, aka Jacques Duquesne. With the help of Dr. Bruce Banner, who was new to S.H.I.E.L.D. at the time, they were able to help Natasha return to normal. She still had her training and became an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D, specially becoming the leader of the secret op's division and later helped form the Thunderbolts, a team of Inhumans. They were able to successfully take down one of Hydra's bases and completely demolish their Super-Solider serum supply. In 2011 she was chosen to help recruit the members of the Avengers along side Tony Stark.

In this universe, Natasha has a heavy Russian accent, almost like in the Ultimate Avengers cartoon. But yeah, she is basically a badass super spy that is kind of sarcastic.
