This is so eye-catching. I love the red on the black and white effect. It's very dramatic and works well in this image. The striped snake is also a great addition.
I love your use of shading and the way you didn't show the ground. The trees fade out perfectly.
The only criticisms that I have are:
1. The size of her forehead. It seems a little too big for the rest of her face.
2. The way the snake wraps around the tree. He really only wraps once, and he bends in half behind the tree; it looks just a little unnatural.
