Here's a new painting that I did over a classic WILDC.A.T.S pin-up by Jim Lee.I sent in a submission for the colorist job at Wildstorm and I did this painting as another sample page. I really want this job so please leave lots of feedback!

How fast you can come up with consistently polished work is always a factor when the comics people decide what to do with your application. I see no problems quality wise. How long does it take you to do one of these things?

I've always loved WildC.A.T.s by Jim Lee, overall the piece came out amazing, nice use of shading and highlights from all the different light sources. Background color really makes the team stand out, great job on the ground textures. All I can say is amazing work and good luck.

the guy on the far left, i think there could be more contrast, but overall- great job! i only wish i could paint that well.

Dude this is the shit seriously this was the comic that got me into comics. I love the Wildcats (the original that is and I have always loved this pinup, and this is seriously an awesome layout with the colors bro great job. I hope that you get the job!

This is amazing. You really deserve that job, the color in the backround makes the rest of it really stand out. The dust near the feet add to the magic. Colors were amazing there was an identified light source and the positions are perfect. I'll i think is maybe addin a few more shadows (on or two) to the girl in yellow and purple. Everyone else has super intense shadow but she doesn't. Just a few so don't go over board, maybe see how you like it.

I remember having a wildcats comic book when I was just a kid. They seemed so generic and ripped off, I never got in to them.
