"I love you too." she said. There was a long period of silence before anything happened. Her eyes grew heavy as her body became motionless. Two minutes have gone by and not a word has been said as her family watches the lines on the screen grow slower. Their nurse came in and told them that the operating room was ready and there was nothing to worry about. "Our doctors are the best in the state." said the nurse, "It's going to be fine." "Take care of our daughter." said the mother, as they all watch their little girl being rolled away by two nurses and two doctors. "Mommy, it's going to be fine." said the little sister, "They're good doctors." It's been two hours since they seen their daughter. "They're worried about their daughter!" said the nurse, "They deserve to know; it's their daughter!" "I KNOW!" the doctor said, "I know." As her family waits in the waiting room the doctor gets ready to give them the news. "Honey, the doctor is here." said the father. "Follow me.", the doctor said. "Is our daughter ok?" the mother asked. The doctor said nothing. "It's so bright in here." said the little sister. The doctor led them to a room. After the nurse opened the door the family saw a bright white light shining in the room where the bed was and there in the bed laid their motionless little girl. "The operation went well." said the doctor, "but she never woke up. We did everything we could; I'm so sorry." The doctor left them alone with their daughter. The mother rushed over to the bed side staring at her daughters face; hoping for movement. Two minutes have gone by and nothing happened. With tears running down her face the mother said, "I love you, forever and always." While the mother was kissing her forehead, the girl opened her eyes and said, "I love you too."
