Description A drawing I did for my dad for father's day. He been working in his hometown Shanghai for the past two years and I miss him dearly. I am admittedly a pretty big daddy's girl.

I really dig 1920's mixture of eastern and western fashion, so that era in Shanghai is a big inspiration for me. Look forward to more series of Shanghai ladies and perhaps men

Some things I don't like because it was a bit of a rush job:

- I wish I pushed the proportions more, I think some of the energy of the pose got lost in rendering. The shoulders need more of a slant and her torso needs more curve. I followed reference for the pose, so I may have got too caught up with being realistically accurate.
- PUSH THE SHAPES!!
- The colors aren't quite meshing well with each other. I wish I pushed further with the skin color to reflect the hair or clothing. I wanted to keep the shading simple, but now it feels a bit too clean. Needs more TEXTURE.
