I kind of got the same idea after watching the episode. This episode had so much (friend)shipping fuel in it.

Derpy's name is now Muffins in cannon (obviously because of how much she loves them) and also a mailmare(pony express) who sometimes makes big mistakes, Bon Bon is a secret agent with the secret name Sweetie Drops, Octavia and Vinyl Scratch live together, The Docter is new official name for 'Time Turner', the awsome list goes on! (I also found it funny when Derpy locked the Mane Six out of the wedding, but clearly this was to keep them out of the episode and shine the spotlight on the townsfolk) HURRAY FOR EPISODE 100!!!

True! It would make a lot of sense with her cutie mark having nothing to do with being one. (but then again, you never know what a wraper like that holds, so it may yet fit in very loosely)

I personally think there are a lot of ponies who's cutie marks don't define their destiny. Perhaps it's simply a talent, or a thing they really love. Like the one organizing pony, (don't know her name), she said she used to be the best organizer before Twilight came to town. However, her cutie mark is some jewels.Β

It's Amethyst Star. Probably did fancy stuff, but tended to mess up a little more when it comes to organizing everything when under time pressure. I say this because we've seen how Twilight saved the first Winter Wrap-up she was a part of with her planning. Still, though, for all we know Bon Bon's cutie mark might be tiny smoke bombs disguised to look like candy, or even a fake she panted on to hide her real talent. We may never know what those wrappers truly hide...
