Giving some fan love to the background ponies as they have as much character as the mane 6 do
.It will be cool to read the upcoming Big Mac arc where he will interact with the other citizens of ponyvillie maybe Mayor Mare will make an appearance.

I really appreciate the direction that you went with on this piece! Mayor mare is often a character that many do not think about in depth and I also believe that you showed us all a more in depth look as to who she is! The lighting and shading resonates with the overall mood of this piece and the style adds life to it. Your character design is very original and gives a sense of fun in this piece! i also appreciate how you incorperated activity and movement to add fluidity to your art work. To think that I've never seen the administrative interior of the Town Hall depicted before.
Hey, I also love sunsets and ponies. Sunrises, too. It makes for some nice lighting conditions.
I really like how you handled the lighting here. Both the sunlight and that magic glow on the broom. Also, dat priceless sign. Some sweet effects on the glass of her door, and that appearance of her hair, glossy and with individual ones standing out and with light "wrapping around" the bottom and far side, is great. Some very sweet highlighting caused by that light. Also, that's a nice expressive face, speaks of another day of tiring but satisfying work. And that detail in her office is lovely, it's interesting to look at it and think what those awards and crests mean.

Yeah, this is an interesting perspective on the layout, both literally and figuratively. Now that I think about it, in the first episode it seemed like the interior was one big open hall. But that doesn't make much sense unless the curtained entrances around the edges opened to the outside of the building. Looking at an exterior view of the building the diameter of the ground floor is noticeably larger than the second, so a double-ring structure like this makes sense, with rooms and stairs around the perimeter of the ground floor and the main hall in the center.
Ok, done overanalyzing now.
