Hello all, I took a bit of a break from the mlp slice of Equestria art I was producing last year to focus on this Ranma 1/2 slice of life illustration. since the start of last year, I began reading the manga and fell in love with the ridiculous story and characters once again. I knew I had to make something inspired by the series, so in-between the mlp art this was the main fan piece I was working on in the background. I created this not just because I am a fan of Ranma but it gave me a great excuse to design Japanese streets inspired by late 80s early 90s japan. I also have been learning and writing Japanese for the last 8 months during lockdown so I tried to put my limited kanji skills to the test folks XD.

Overall I am very happy with the final result and it has inspired me to do more fan slice of life fan illustrations and return to the slice of Equestria artwork series.
