Yes, it is almost that time of year again. Actually, this is a photo of a friend of mine. He would spend most of the year growing his beard, and then cut if off after Christmas. The simple photo was taken in my apartment. I had a gold background and hung up a strand of Christmas lights for effect behind him. His appearance is what made the shot.
